Your donations help us give away bikes! It costs us about $100 to give a kid a fully refurbished bike, helmet, headlight, taillight, t-shirt, and lock. Plus, our sustainable mission helps us keep thousands of pounds of metal and rubber out of the landfill. The DC Bike Academy is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Donations are tax deductible.

Before you throw that bike away, consider donation to us. We gladly accept gently used bikes but will accept bikes if they are in repairable condition. Our staff and volunteers clean and repair your donations, so rideable bikes are most helpful. We can even pick donated bikes up.
